Adding a Works Cited page in MLA 8.

Your Works Cited page needs to be on ITS OWN SEPARATE PAGE even if you think it's silly. Yes, it will look very sparse...but it won't over time as we gather more things to cite in essays, so get over it.

Now that you're over it, here's how to do it:

Insert a page break by going to the last line of where you are at and want the new page to be at. Press "Ctrl + Enter." Voila!

Center your title: Works Cited at the top.
Then, put in the correct information. I grabbed this from the OWL at Purdue, an excellent website for all things MLA 8th edition.
This is the info you will need (and can find it all right in the book!).

Last Name, First Name. Title of Book. Publisher, Publication Date.

Most likely (and absolutely) this will all fit on one line...if it doesn't, then you got some wacky font or page margins that you need to fix. Times New Roman 12, people. In the event of something being longer than a line (which is most of the time), you'll do what is called a hanging indent....but we'll go there when we need to, soon.
